I had a wonderful conversation with Pree who I met on Instagram the first years of living in Italy during the pandemic.

I haven't done a podcast in a while so it was great to catch up an review life in Italy.

Looking back, moving to Italy during the pandemic was the best decision for me and my family. There were many challenges but these come with moving to a new culture especially with a new language. Now we have all settled down into our individual routines.

We also discussed my new book which has a title of “Cera una Volta” ( to be decided)- which means Once Upon A Time and is a second memoir - with recipes

How much life has changed and so rapidly in the last 10 years. This book is about a trip to Italy in 2015 when I first new that it would be home. But I had no idea under the circumstances which we would eventually move.

It has a whim of nostalgia that tells my experiences that made me want to leave the beautiful tropical island - the country of my birth to America and the conflict it brings when I eventually wanted to leave. Yet eventually finding home in Italy.
